Service Description

Breathwork - Mobility - Matwork Pilates - Deep Stretch - Meditation The Whitsundays is the perfect location to celebrate something special, it’s crazy beautiful and there are heaps of stunning Islands and vibrant bars to explore. On the flip side of all your usual celebratory activities, maybe you are looking for some down time with your party, to try something different and release some feel good chemicals. So, here’s the fun stuff you need to know about a Whitsundays Full Body Experience with me; All large group sessions are either an hour and a half or 2 hours. They include Breathwork, Mobility, Matwork Pilates, Deep Stretching and Yoga Nidra Meditation This session is low-impact and I provide progressive levels for each Pilates exercise so you feel an appropriate level of muscle burn no matter how fit/unfit you may think you are. I’ll have arrived early and have music, mats, eyemasks etc. all ready to go when you arrive I know that group fitness sessions can feel a bit weird, don’t worry I’m very easy going and friendly – I aim to put you at ease immediately and get you all settled in. (5 mins) We will start with breathwork to get oxygen flowing into those muscles and removing waste Co2 ~ as well as making you feel alive it has the added benefit of introducing you to the Pilates breathing we will use for our matwork exercises (5 mins) Mobility is next up – through dynamic stretching we will loosen up your joints and release tension in all your sore spots that are crying out for a bit of TLC (15 mins) Now for our Matwork session, depending on what we have discussed this can either be a low intensity workout all the way up to a more HIIT style Pilates session. We focus on control of movement, core stability and sculpting long, lean muscles. This whole body workout is designed to put you in touch with yourself, develop mind muscle connection and feel an empowering muscle burn (40 mins) To get your heart rate back down and detox your muscles we will then do a deep, super satisfying stretch session (10 mins) You will already be feeling great by now, but I like to finish all my sessions with guided Yoga Nidra style Gratitude Meditations. These are done lying down, with something lightly placed over your closed eyes (towel/eyemask) – I’ll guide you through the rest, using words that allow you to go inwards for a few minutes and reflect with gratitude, leaving you with a warm fuzzy feeling. (10-15 mins)
