Thanks for visiting Whitsundays Pilates :)

 

I offer Pilates & Mobility classes to local residents of Airlie Beach and Cannonvale as well as those here in the Whitsundays on holiday.

Pilates & Mobility classes are held at both Evolve and Coral Sea Marina. These Pilates classes are are available to pay for on a as-per basis, 3-class package or unlimited Membership. ​I also run 8 week Pilates and Mobility courses the help you develop your movement in different functional practices. These Pilates courses cater for everyone's different goals & needs. It's a great way to make a commitment to improving your health and developing a positive lifestyle.

 

​If you are here on holiday and wanting an in-house service or balcony workout then I can provide a mobile service with equipment for up to 15 clients. I bring all mats, music and good vibes to your accommodation here in the Whitsundays. I also have a permit for the foreshore between 6am - 8am - perfect for a stunning sunrise class. ​

 

I am passionate about my clients feeling good from the inside out. This is why I include different practices that are scientifically backed to help you feel better in your movement, your mind - live healthier for longer. ​ I have a range of class and course options that have been designed to meet a range of goals, whether that be total relaxation or an intense Pilates burnout.  

 

Fully qualified in Breathwork, Functional Mobility, Matwork Pilates and Yoga Nidra Meditation.

Depending on if you are a beginner looking to experience Pilates here in Airlie Beach for the first time or a pro who doesn't want to miss their Pilates workout whilst on holidays - I will personalise your experience so you get the most out of our sessions. 
I can provide all Pilates equipment including mats for groups of up to 15 group members

BREATHWORK

Breathwork refers to various breathing practices in which the conscious control of breathing is shown to influence a person's mental, emotional or physical state, with a claimed therapeutic effect. I will guide you through your breathwork session, with a focus on increasing your energy ready for your workout.

FUNCTIONAL MOBILITY

Functional mobility is described as any basic movement a person makes to perform day to day activities. Our mobility session will incorporate dynamic and flowing movements that will help you to reach the full potential of your body’s movement. Moving through the joints that need to be mobile starting with your neck then shoulders, wrists, spine, hips and ankles. You release tension you didn't even realise you had!

MATWORK PILATES

Matwork Pilates is a workout done with a range of exercises that are mainly sitting or lying on a mat, making it very low impact and suitable for a wide range of clients. But don't be fooled, whilst you might not be out of breath, Pilates workouts deliver a satisfying and spicy muscle burn. The exercises have a continuous flow that emphasises length, alignment and core activation. Small pieces of equipment can be incorporated for a creative and varied workout.

DEEP STRETCHING

By gradually slowing down the body, as opposed to just stopping cold, you maximize the benefits of your workout. Stretching isn’t just for the muscles. It also helps harmonize your mind, relax your mood, and relieve stress.

YOGA NIDRA MEDITATION

Lay back, totally relaxed, complete with a cooling gel mask soothing your eyes. Follow the words and get lost in the music in this short meditation intended to draw your attention inwards and allows you to fall into a state of blissful awareness. Yoga Nidra provides your mind with a short 'rest' period (NSDR - non sleep deep rest) which is important for maintaining your mental wellbeing.
