Use your breath to feel better
Breathwork refers to various breathing practices in which the conscious control of breathing is shown to influence a person's mental, emotional or physical state, with a claimed therapeutic effect. I will guide you through your breathwork session, with a focus on increasing your energy ready for your workout.
FUNCTIONAL MOBILITY
Just a few minutes of mobility increases blood flow through your entire body
Functional mobility is described as any basic movement a person makes to perform day to day activities. Our mobility session will incorporate dynamic and flowing movements that will help you to reach the full potential of your body’s movement. Moving through the joints that need to be mobile starting with your neck then shoulders, wrists, spine, hips and ankles. You will release tension you didn't even realise you had!
MATWORK PILATES
Control, Stability and Focus
Matwork Pilates is a workout done with a range of exercises that are mainly sitting or lying on a mat, making it very low impact and suitable for a wide range of clients. But don't be fooled, whilst you might not be out of breath, Pilates workouts deliver a satisfying and spicy muscle burn. Exercises have a continuous flow that emphasises length, alignment and core activation. Small pieces of equipment can be incorporated for a creative and varied workout.
